« on: Sun, 06 December 2015, 12:55:16 »
my keyboard slides when I'm using it.

How do I prevent it from sliding?

You can cut a piece of drawer liner about the same size as your keyboard and put it underneath.

^^ This is what I'm using.

There are also some rubber bumpers you can get I forget the exact recommended ones for the HHKB.

Hey we have the same keyboard :P That's not a bad idea! But I found another solution. If you look at the back of your keyboard, you see the top area where there are two circles? THE reason why the keyboard is moving is because they didn't include rubber stuff there. That's the only reason why the keyboard moves. I found two rubbery thing and cut them out and placed it in that area and now it's not moving anymore :P

"We are on the precipice of signing an agreement to advance talks with Iran that preserves the good parts of former President Barack Obama’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) while amplifying its flaws.
Mr. Obama came to an agreement that did not involve America’s most precious treasure, the lives and limbs of our soldiers.  The 1.7 billion dollars of frozen Iranian assets released by Obama pales in comparison to the 300 billion being floated as a rebuilding fund.
So far, speculation that Iran will be free in the future to continue its nuclear program is the opposite of Trump’s stated goal for the war and in direct opposition to what Mr. Obama negotiated.

Shameless promotion of my own product:

I can also vouch for this, I use fohats material under my keyboards at work. :thumb:

Not a shameless promotion if it's a viable solution to the problem! thanks!

I use drawer liner under mine too.  It has the second benefit of dampening the echo from the desk, so I can enjoy the Topre thock more.

Also I was going to link fohat's thread, but he already did :))
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Are your HHKB's sliding because the front rubber feet have become slick?  Or are you just pushing it really hard in a funny way?
