Current Airline Ticket Agent Keyboards

So due to all sorts of ticketing mess with my work flight today, I spent more than my fair share a tthe ticket counter today at the airport (still here actually).  But I had enough time to notice their keyboards--which are nothing else I've ever seen.  They were definitely linear nd you had a curved section at the top that incorporated a card reader.  They had a really nice sound and also something I've never seen berore--a red button looking thing just to the left of the arrow cluster.  It looked like a large almost surface mount trackpoint, but I never saw them use it.

Anyone know this board?

I was wanting to ask them if I could type on it, but I'm sure they would have looked at me quite strangely, lol.  Or they would have called secuity because Im brown-skinned.

Semi-Frequent Flier here, I look for the mechanicals as much as I can. Never seen that keyboard but Those deskos come up a lot.

I've noticed Delta is still using the compact Deskos (picture by Sifo) with MX Blacks in their non-hubs (like my airport, RIC) and some of their hub counters like in ATL but they seem to be going with the domes more. Flew American a few times in CLT, PHL and only saw rubber domes but use the old style Desko in RIC. and Southwest i don't think uses mechanical in a long time. which is interesting, these ticket counter keyboards have to take some serious abuse, i mean If i had to deal with some of these travelers--especially on southwest, i'd be taking out on my keyboard so much a rubber dome one would break in half. I wonder if these rubber dome ones get traded/replaced out frequently.

They also have those standard lenovo rubber domes with the blue enter

It's sad that the cheap cost of a rubberdome outweighs the benefits to the user.  Even in our hotels (where the keyboards see a good amount of activity as well) I just left the rubberdomes because they were used to it and I didn't want them breaking anything expensive. 

They never wore out the domes, but the legends were barely there and there was enough keyshine to cause glare.

You can see plenty of similar mechanical Access keyboards (DS and MX Black)  at Schiphol airport (Amsterdam, Netherlands).  A Spanish fellow got and shared a stash of them with some colleagues and I, I got mine for a ridiculous 17€ including shipping. Nice and study board I have to say. One of us heavily moded the case by removing the card reader and chopping some plastic parts.

That's awesome!  Share pics!  I'd love to see more of these industrial type boards.
