Hey I just recently got into mechanical keyboards and have some Qs

I have recenty bought a Varmillo switch tester keypad anodized paint(First ever mech keyboard/pad) for starters and ordered cherry profile R4 height F area keycaps and a bunch of dyesub custom ESC cherry profile R4 height (F area) keycaps. Do you think they are the same size? or different as a keypad? I'm still waiting for my orders and sorry for being such a noob at this. Thanks for your time!

They will be the same size, keypads should still use a standard switch spacing like a fullsize keyboard. And if they're all the same profile keycap (Cherry R4), then all of the keycaps should be the same height as well.

Yeah they are all cherry R4 thanks! I was really worried since I spent 50 dollars on 12 key caps that I have no clue on.

Did you get your switch tester from Massdrop, by any change?  They have run that a couple of times now.  I've been tempted, but managed to resist.

If the keycaps are listed as "Cherry profile R4" then they should all be the same height and profile.

Yeah, got it from massdrop website just last week. For my first mech keyboard, hopefully it's not hard to desolder and solder the switch tester with another switches onces figure out which one I prefer. Really, what makes you resist if you don't mind me asking  that? Oh yeah and thaanks!

It is not something I "need".  I have 3 or 4 other switch testers, and don't really use a numeric numpad (most of my keyboards are TKL), so another switch tester/numpad is superfluous.
