If anyone needs a delivery from the states(California) that is not too huge I might be able to make it happen.

I'll be in town March 18-21st.  :)

We can accommodate for our American friend if we set the date to the 19th or 20th. What do you think?

directly during my exam block so if that's the case I'll sit out of that one

bring your study notes m8 I'll help you cram

Just out of curiosity, what are you studying? I may as well ask where as well.

Accelerated IPT, for school. Those aren't my notes though, those are notes from the guy who got 1st in state 3 years ago and recently got 99.95 ATAR, so his notes are fairly famous around our school. Definitely going to review them alot going into exams and such.

That sounds pretty hardcore. I kind of wish I had that attitude with my studies. I've been dragging my computer science degree for a while.

I'm happy to take point on organizing but I'll wait till swimmingbird chimes in before I do anything since he's a respected elder around here. I can set up a form so people can decide on day.

I'll be able to bring some soldering equipment and some stuff to solder if people were interested in a tutorial or something. I can also bring in some keyboards with the Matias varieties, some Zealios and Aristotle switches (loose switches though). An industrial Model M if I'm not already overburdened.

This stuff sounds great!
A month ago I would've found the soldering tutorial really useful, I'm sure it will be very handy for some people.
Really pumped to try out some of the switches you mentioned seeing as though I've only ever used mx browns and blues.
I hope it ends up being a day I can make it  ;D
Custom 60%: Cherry MX blues with 62g gold springs and PBT Black on Black dyesub keycaps.

oh yeah, I'll be heading up to china during the school holidays (middle of april) so if you want me to proxy some stuff from taobao or some other sites just send me a pm and ill get my relatives to order it so that i can bring it back to australia. I can bring back small items with no surcharge, but larger stuff like cases and keyboards i might need to discuss further.

If you can set maybe 25th-26th of April as the date I can get everyone's stuff back ASAP, or maybe 30th april-1st of may but my birthday is on the 30th so I might have something else planned on that date.

I'm free most weekends too. Count me in.

I would suggest 'The Nerd Cave' as the venue. It's right next to Central station (towards Surry Hills).

https://www.google.com/maps/place/The+Nerd+Cave/@-33.8842732,151.2060943,17.5z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x6b12ae2198e929cb:0xcf2bbfd6347e7d9d?hl=en

They're pretty much a little den for trading card game players. There are some PCs and arcade machines inside. I inquired about having a meet there a while back and they're happy to have us. It's pretty quiet during the afternoon so we'll have most of the venue to ourselves.

Keg & Brew is nearby so we can drop by after for some craft beer. Tokyo Bird if you're into Japanese whisky and yakitori.

If you're not sure, just don't touch anything that looks like it is, or might recently have been, alive.

City sounds good to me. Don't really mind where it is as long as the venue isn't 18+  :p
