Shipping to Canada via USPS only requires one short form to be filled out -- sounds more like you just don't know what you're doing than anything. I buy from the states all the time and have only ever ran into difficulty one time...and in that case once I instructed the seller of the process he was pretty embarrassed about how easy it was. I suppose for some folks it's easier to just say no international, but really it just comes down to laziness more than anything. I tend not to reward laziness with my hard earned money.
i am not worked up by simply filling out the customs form, it just seems like there are always issues, like i said:
i shipped a $60 waterblock to canada, WITH TRACKING, but the guy said he never got it, talked to USPS, they said they tracked it as far as _______ but after that they cant do anything since it is international. had to take they guys word on it!
i shipped a power supply to brazil, and for whatever reason (must have been the weight) the shipping was way more than even the estimate was, ended up being more than the thing itself was worth.
im always pressured to mark as "gift" but am sometimes worried about it.
like i said, people who ship US only are not "lazy". and i am not asking for your money to reward "laziness". i would rather not ship overseas just for some random ebayer, but a generous (and FIXED, if the packaging costs thing was a jab at me) shipping rate can win me over.
