I will start off this thread with high resolution photos of the prototypes for everyone to view, as well as a link to a video showing these keyboards and comparing them to other Model F/M keyboards! Today we just passed $40,000 in sales for these keyboards over at
www.ModelFkeyboards.com, after just the first week or so of open orders! Just under one-third of those who signed the interest form have placed their order so far. There's definitely still time: the early bird round ends 2/29 and the final round ends 6/30. For those unsure of getting one of these (or picking up a second one) the first round keyboards will ship up in April/May, about two months before the final round ends, so you'll get to hear from others about these keyboards. I have been using the prototypes without issue for the past week or so - typing the current post with the F77!
The F62 is the smaller off-white keyboard, while the F77 is shown in the Industrial Grey color option (colors will change a little for the production units to more closely match my originals).
Due to all these customizations, you may be ordering a customized keyboard that no one else has exactly the same as you, so these photos should be interesting to see which options people want. You can fully customize the keyboard with dozens of possible combinations including case color, ANSI/international layouts, HHKB-style layout with split right shift (big key on left barrel and 1U key on right barrel) and any Unicomp keys you want.
If interested and/or you have any questions feel free to post in the GB thread, so that we minimize overlap and confusion. This thread will focus on photos!
