With USPS international shipping fees having gone up, it would make crap bags even less enticing for those of us not in CONUS.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But thatís incorrect. Itís in HHKBís slogan, but when Americaís cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Not exactly enticing for those in the US either.

That loses its appeal the first time you try it with a crap bag.

I love the idea of opening a bag and never knowing what might be in there. It's sort of like buying key cap lottery tickets. Unfortunately I don't think anything in the bags is worth very much on its own, so it's less of a treasure hunt and more of a blind box gotta catch 'em all Pokemans obsession.  :))

I still have 3 1/2 bags to sort through I just bought from various GH members, but I will buy more of these anyway. I think I am more in to key caps than keyboards.

I don't understand the prices. It should be $13.45 for a medium, flat-rate box.

I would love to have one of those 2x2 caps, like the green one in the second pic.

Yea, same price to the UK. I'm not willing to pay more money for shipping than the bag, although it would've been nice! It's a pass from me.

I don't think they have as many now as they used to.

A small part might be the number of people buying them, but I suspect their manufacturing techniques have improved sufficiently that there are less and less defective keys, and hence less crap bags.

Please post pictures of what was in your bag, if you were able to snag one :)

Maybe expecting a few Sadsters due to the not-so-long-ago run.

I too want to know this.

Some of the recent sales were on:

26-Jan-2012
10-Dec-2012
30-Jul-2013
26-Feb-2014
02-Sep-2015
17-Oct-2015

Although the last two might have just been different posts about the same thing.

So it looks like end of year and middle of year, maybe, and probably depends on how many reject keycaps they have to go around.

Bring these back!!

The Grab Bags are coming back.  Keep a watch on the status page.  No date yet, but here's the latest:
Grab Bags  A few 'hot keys' in the next round, but they will come at a higher price TBD.

Anyone with an idea what the "hot" keys are? :p

Probably something rare or desirable.  A Hapster or two, maybe?  A few specials that were not available for separate purpose perhaps.
