Greetings from the northwest
« on: Fri, 04 March 2016, 11:11:18 »
Howdy people.  I felt like joining this swell forum because I've been pretty much just palling around on /r/mk and there arent enough posts to satisfy my craving!  I'm typing this from my sweet Paradise v60 mini with browns (for comfort and quiet) and look forward to making entries here from many other boards to come! :D  My end game goal is to build my own 60% with a jukebox set and the purpleheart Sealwood case.  Gotta learn soldering first though!  Rock on mech world.

Yeah it's nice.  The greenlake area (north seattle) is so beautiful and yet you're still close enough to the city to work there.  Tis my goal neighborhood for when I'm rich and shtuff.

Are you a dirty shehawks fan?
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

Fan might be a bit strong.  I was much more into them when I was younger, but people just get too rowdy during football games, so I've kind of tapered off. Go hawks though...

Welcome to Geekhack!

There's probably more posts here than you'd care to read :))

Hint: try to set yourself a budget, as there are so many nice things to buy.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
