Is a replacement for this key possible? I tried cleaning it with some alcohol. Its not going away.

Submit a support ticket on the site, and include the image. Once the majority of sets have been delivered, I'm going to speak with GMK about replacement keys.

I picked my set a few minutes ago, the first key I check was the 1.5u B Profile Alt Gr, it has a swirl mark at its left side, nothing really ugly, but it is there and cannot be removed, it appears to be some sort of plastic residue a la double shot style, maybe the legend bottom moved a bit too near to the side of the cap's wall. I'll post some pics later tonight, or tomorrow, after I check the other keys. I'd like a replacement if they become available.


The colors are far better than I originally thought, awesome, congratulations for the good work Sir Ghost. These are the best companion for my venerable OG Cherry sets can ever get.

Oh wow, that is pretty significant. I think I like the CMYW yellow better honestly.

Not sure, but I owned the CMYW from Originative and I like CMYK +1000 more. The black font is so much better.

The black legends go so well with this more saturated yellow that the former one, I really like CMYK.

Checking the recent group buys pricing you pay the same for a GMK set than for an SP one at the same layout; worst, you pay more to SP per gram of plastic than to GMK. There is not really a premium, unless you get the sets that some profited with a bit more than usual, like the recent oranges that all of us know about. Regarding consistency, the recent beige sets made matches perfectly with old OGs, I think the small Pantone difference is on these new colors.

I think that is less to do with GMK getting cheaper and more to do with rising prices at SP

Were these advertised as the same color code? GMK has 3 distinct color codes for yellows.

There are 4 yellow keys in the following pic.


2 Shift keys are from CMYW and CMYK, and 2 Win keys are from RGBYW and RGBYK.
These Win keys were manufactured before the new colors have come out from GMK.

I felt nothing different between yellow keys with the same legend color.
But I realized the same difference between yellow keys with the different legend color.

I've heard that a dark color such as black might have an influence on a bright color such as yellow during double-shot processes.
I think there may be a clue to cause the difference.

Just did some more checking - the yellow in Skeletor and CMYK is slightly off but nowhere near as much as CMYK/CMYW

I think this is the most logical explanation.  Hold them both up to the light and see which one passes more light.

I was about to say it's likely that the yellow is slightly transparent

We may theorized as much as we want about the color difference root cause, but these yellow keys look absolutely saturated awesome. I feel sorry for those that feel anxiety on their other yellow keys not matching these ones, exactly, but unless you want to use it in the same keyboard it does not matter at all.

Finally got my caps as well. What a rollercoaster ride for me, can't blame anyone though. USPS tracking has been telling me for almost 2 weeks the caps are waiting at the customs office for pickup but I got no notification and they couldn't find anything when I called and begged them to look.

Then suddenly out of nowhere after _TWO WEEKS_ the package was marked "delivered" and I got the notification. Guess it took that long from Frankfurt Airport Import to my local customs office (25km drive)

Put them on my [insert amazing keyboard] and they look great with [insert keycap set people would trade their last kidney for]!

She opened the envelope in front of me and asked me what were those.
She gave me a look lime "aww the poor guy is mad" after i answered and she didn't ask me to may any taxes

It's a miracle! My set made it to me despite my best efforts to never, ever get them. They just took the long way with a stop in Nagoya on their way to Pittsburgh. Hell yeah! Thanks ghostjuggernaut, they look great.
