Dolch PAC, $100 shipped BIN ("for parts")
« on: Wed, 23 March 2016, 21:17:17 »
No idea how this hasn’t sold yet, http://www.ebay.com/itm/111933103165

I remember some of these things getting up to $200+ for just the keyboard or even just the keycaps a few years ago.

Then again, maybe $100 shipped is just the price now.

There’s also this one for auction, currently at a low price:

Awesome deal. I picked up my Dolch PAC keyboard for about $150, but that was only after agreeing to BIN with +$80 shipping. Fortunately the seller agreed to keep the heavy part and just ship me the keyboard for much cheaper. They're great keyboards with some really nice, smooth vintage blues. Not to mention the OG Cherry caps, and who doesn't love the 1800 layout?

I lent this keyboard to a friend and they ended up loving it so much they bought their first mechanical keyboard (a Filco Majestouch, IIRC).

I do think I'm eventually going to shove a teensy in there to make that thing USB-native, although I could just add a phone jack pigtail to my Teensy-based TMK PS2-USB converter.
