Found IBM model F for $20, go for it?

I found the model F for $20, the XT 83 key one. Should I get one?
They have 4. SHould I get more? seems like a pretty good deal....

YES!!! a model F for 20$ sounds like a great deal. go for it. I can help you with installing the internal soarers converter if you like. all you need is a teensy to get it up and running.

there is either something wrong with is or the people selling are incredibly stupid (no offense :p). if it's an F XT, its a BS board and i'm sure you will need a converter. if it is on ebay etc, ask for more pictures to make sure it is in decent condition. i cant tell you to buy it considering i haven't seen it.

Looks pretty good from the pic, on craigslist. I think ill check them out.

I'd buy them all, keep one and sell the least attractive models on eBay.
