So what else is out there that might be a bit more obtainable than the leeku pcb/plate option in an Orion?

You can buy a KBParadise V80 with Matias or Fukkas and swap the switches. It's already programmed so all you have to do is swap the switches.

Oh very cool. I just read cptbadass's review and it sound like a good option to get going.

On that note, a Filco Zero works too, and I believe it works with Frosty Flake or whatever custom controllers are compatible with Filcos (not all that familiar), so you can turn it into a fully programmable keyboard.

The Zero is suppossed to be very similarly built and looking to the V80 as well. I wonder if KBParadise made the Zeros?

Yes, you can check it out here
I'm holding off on buying KB v80 until we have confirmation that it works with Pegasus Hoof like the good old Filco.

This might end up being what I do with my extra Blue Alps, it's way too cool! I am waiting to give Zealiostotles a try before I settle on my next clicky keyboard build but I know I'm definitely shooting for an aluminum case and TKL this time around. If I'm going with Blue Alps I could just wait for the Rosa/BlueNalgene's GB, though... Decisions, Decisions!
