WTB: IBM Model F!
« on: Tue, 01 November 2016, 22:43:12 »
Im really looking for a Model F, preferable thats already been usb modded. I had one a few years ago and I absolutely loved it and was a fool to part with it. Now that Im typing much more frequently my fingers would greatly appreciate one!

Please let me know if you have one!

Thanks!

I actually bought one of his F's and it was in shockingly good condition.

Edit: He did ship it kind of ****ty: it came in an un-padded priority mail cardboard-ish letter package, but it's a model F so it was fine.

One note: don't take the spacebar out to clean it.

So did I, he shipped the same way. Arrived fine though. I sent him a link to gameboard boxes.

And yeah, you'll have to take plate and pcb apart to remove spacebar. Not a huge deal though, very easy to do. Just make sure to hold the flipper on the spacebar down when putting them back together or tie floss to it and weight it down.
