[IC] DSA Basic - 60% Keyset for ALPS Switches
« on: Mon, 16 January 2017, 19:22:13 »
Hi all,

With the latest round of TMK Alps 64 available, I designed this keyset for alps keyboards in a 60% form-factor.

So, I present to you:

DSA Basic

Please feel free to leave any comments/criticism/suggestions  :)

Was hoping somebody would do this. Looks good mate, only possible thing I would suggest is maybe including a black on white backslash? I realise it's not a mod but some people like the symmetrical look. Might be nice to have the option? I'm down to buy it anyway =].

Looks great!  :thumb:

Maybe add a black "~ `" 1U key?

A few questions:
(1)-What are the PMK color codes for this set?
(2)-Have you considered symbol modifiers, or do you prefer text modifiers?
(3)-Are you planning on supporting some of the other 60% layouts that the Alps64 PCB supports (i.e. Infinity, Winkeyless, HHKB, AEK, etc)?  Here's a quick keyboard-layout-editor of some of the keys that might be needed if you wanted to go that route: http://bit.ly/2iC7lD4

"Maybe add a black "~`" 1U key?"
Good idea, I will defiantly do that.

1. NN & WA
2. I prefer text modifiers but if there is enough interest I will do symbol modifiers.
3. Yes, this Interest Check was more for the colorway, the set is no where near final. And thanks for the KLE link, that will help me out a lot  :thumb:

Hope this helps

Support for AEK would be great.

Been a while, but any movement on this? I'd definitely be up for it, I think a sharp black/white DSA set for Alps would be sweet.
KBD75; Alps64 trio; some other stuff
