Budget Cherry board has non standard balanced keys
« on: Mon, 23 January 2017, 21:13:32 »
Enter, shifts, space, delete, Numpad +/enter,  any others that traditionally have several switches lengthwise the cap fits on, don't fit on one particular budget board with Blues I have. Instead, the caps are hollow where the other two swithes would be, and it has a metal bracket like the space bar etc. traditionally do to keep it balanced out.

Caps which expect 3 switches don't fit because there are protruding plastic blocks the brackets lock into where they would be. Is the best solution (since it's a budget board) to cut them out of the way so my other caps fit?

It seems the space bar is not even removable as the springs are built into the space bar cap.
