What keyboard is this?

Hello, I hope you can help me. I found this keyboard for sale in my city, I should buy it
it? It would be about 5 euros.

It looks like a Model F XT. Will have a RJ45 cable, a bit hard to convert but a good feeling board without the heaviness or crunch of a Model M.

That's not an XT... and for that matter XTs don't have an RJ45 cable.

Most likely a keytronic foam and foil.

Definitely not an F XT, but it's probably an XT board.

Not sure really, need a bit more detailed pic or a back pic or something to help out.

It looks a bit like my Hi-Tek 725, but that didn't have a 3 u + key.

Maybe you should buy it, if you don't like it or can't convert it then sell on it eBay, you'll probably make back what you spent.

My thought is a foam and foil board as Parak said.  Even if it is, it would be worth the $5 euro to find out for sure.

If in doubt, assume KeyTronic Foam & Foil. Even with slight doubt, assume KeyTronic Foam & Foil. Those LEDs just look way too KeyTronic to me.

Then again, that font doesn't look like something KeyTronic would normally use. You could give it a shot.

I had more info:in the back you can see: " PHILIPS P2812-090.Is it worth to buy it?
and it will work in a modern computer?

I see Photobucket has gone down the toilet again. Why does that service still exist and why is anyone still using that garbage?

Anyway, if it's €5 for this, then it's a yes to buying it:

Would it work? I don't know — XT can be converted to USB, but it's even more finicky than PS/2 as I understand.

I have no idea what switches are in this.

It is not an XT only board. It has lights thus it is either an XT/AT switchable or AT only board. Assuming it is working you can put it into AT mode and then just use any PS/2 to USB converter to connect it to a computer.

IOW: if it is not broken yes, you should be able to make it work, even making it fully programmable if you want.

If it´s hard to convert, i don´t think this could be good for a noob like me

I think I'm going to pass from this and look for something new since I also failed to bring life back to IBM m2

Where did you find it? It's definitely worth someone having that — linear space invaders are highly regarded, and for that price you could even split it out for spare keycaps and spare switches, although I'd recommend letting someone buy it to convert.

Local seller has it. I just landed in the world of keyboards and I'm too new to the conversion, the layout of the keys is too strange for me and even a keyboard is too big.
Do you think it could be a good business?
If someone is interested, I do not have problem in doing of intermediary without cost.
