Need help with SATAN GH60
« on: Thu, 04 May 2017, 10:56:54 »
first off, first post and first keyboard build!

so heres the problem(s)

Firstly when i plugged the keyboard in no particular drivers seemed to install, and in Device Manager it appears as two "HID Keyboard Device" (is it right that theres two? my other keyboard appears as two but i assumed that was because it has a number pad?)

I've built my layout in Easy AVR fine, with no problems, but when I opened Atmel Flip i realised that there is no boot switch on my keyboard, just tow little toggle switches labeled 1 and 2 like this http://img.dxcdn.com/productimages/sku_122480_2.jpg
but without the third switch

What do I do from here?

Multiple keyboard devices is normal. That's a trick some keyboards use to get n-key rollover and to add features like volume control, etc.. As to the lack of a programming button, see this thread.
