capsunlocked is proud to present GMK Mondrian, a keycap set designed by u/jebbra and produced by GMK.

Inspired by one of the most iconic paintings ever produced — Composition with Red, Blue and Yellow by Piet Mondrian — GMK Mondrian is a keycap set made specifically for ortholinear keyboards as a homage to the grid structure of the painting.

The original painting is a well-known work of abstraction, and much like the painting itself, this keycap set promotes abstraction as its arrangement, meaning and purpose can only be determined by the user. This keycap set is truly unique as it allows ortholinear keyboard users the ability to determine their own design; users can use the coloured keycaps to highlight modifiers, or randomly arrange them in any configuration they think is best, there is no limit to how creative you can get with this keycap set. Even though you will be part of a group buy, GMK Mondrian will always be personal to you.

GMK are a well-established keycap manufacturer within the mechanical keyboard community, and produce high quality ABS Cherry Profile keycaps using the original tooling created by Cherry. GMK keycaps are thick, durable, and their ABS keycaps are not only highly sought after but many users within the mechanical keyboard community also rate the Cherry Profile head and shoulders above other keycap profiles.
The MOQ is 150 and will be live until 30th July. Production time is 14 weeks, so customers can expect to receive their orders in November. The price for the entire keycap set is 61.00GBP, which is slightly below $79USD. Shipping to all locations worldwide is 10.00GBP.

No worries, Jack is willing to help tipping this! I already talk to him and he will stock this on OLKB.com just like Nantucket Selectric blanks in the past

But be aware this doesn't mean we are safe now because I'm not sure how much Jack can cover. Will try if Jack could help spreading the words too.

I think capsunlocked and Mehkee need to come together to figure out our final counts, but in any case, you would find out early next week or certainly before the close of the Preonic GB.

If you haven't put in your purchase on either site yet, I would recommend doing that to help us get accurate numbers and figure out if there is a gap that needs to be filled or not!

Hi,

Apologies for not being active enough in this thread.

I can confirm that the invoice for GMK Mondrian has been settled, and the ETA is currently January/February. As far as I am aware, the lead time is still 14 weeks.

If there are any further updates, I will let you know.

The shipping labels have all been created but I am waiting to receive some shipping supplies. Most of the sets will be shipping on Thursday/Friday.

The rest will most likely ship on Monday.

All orders have been sent via DHL Express, capsunlocked is not charging any customers extra for this new Express service.

Almost all of the sets were collected by DHL today, and the rest are going out tomorrow!

According to DHL tracking, my package is expected to arrive by the end of the day! I'm so excited! Unfortunately my Planck won't have a case until mid/late January at best, but at least I can have fun experimenting with colour patterns
