Label says G80-3112HAG, seems something is on the keycaps no idea what that is.

You're right—that's quite observant. So the tilde ( ~ ) is with the number sign ( # ) next to Enter, because the pounds sign ( £ ) is where the number sign usually is. But why the redundant F1 where tilde usually is? And where's the little backward apostrophe ( ` ) that's usually on the tilde key? We could spend hours agonizing over all this. But hey, why not? What else are we doing?
