Hmm... Elephant S6 🤔

I'm kinda liking the F62 vibes, tbh, but maybe you could tone down the bezels a bit to differentiate it from the S7.

I would be love to get an aluminum, 60% S7.  Keep the bezels!  That would replace my F62PE.

I read through the thread and unfortunately a round 2 will not happen. This is due to jacky losing money on this first run. He had underestimated the cost. As you can see from the price it is super cheap for such an absolute unit.

I've read through it too, but losing money on the first round doesn't necessarily equate to not doing it again because of extra expenses--after all he's thinking of running another GB for a custom keyboard already, which could potentially result in production issues and lost funds.  I think what it would mean for S7-Elephant 70% specifically is that it would cost more in round 2.

I finally build my S7-Elephant. It was sitting in the drawer for way too long (I feel kind of bad for it :()

Switches: Aliaz bottom housing, Gateron Yellow spring, milky top & stem (lubed with 3204)
Plate: Custom single layout brushed copper plate (with nice patina ;))
Keycaps: SA Leviathan (Maxkeys)
Stabilisers: GMK Screw-In (lubed with Krytox 205 G2)

Thank you very much jacky for designing this awesome keyboard. I love to type on it.

Don't feel bad about not putting it together for so long.  I think many of us sit on these keyboard kits for a long time.   I know I'm waiting for a good space to work on my kits, and some of them like the S7 will be a special occasion!
