Strange, sounded nothing like the topre I tried (but that doesn't mean anything as I have only tried the nouvatouch). You have obviously more experience than me I just didn't relate the sound to topre.

Asuka colors from evangelion 2.0 :S.  Also I used to go to VT before switching majors which was maroon and orange so it doesn't seem that odd to me.  Got tired of the standard red alert/klaxon.
