Well seeing as how the President is currently on leave, I shall be taking over his executive duties as his Vice President.

THAT BEING SAID... first order of business: Windows 98 is NO LONGER the official OS of GH. As of this moment, the official GH OS is MICROSOFT NEPTUNE.

It is truly a state-of-the-art OS!

That's the best part... this is FREE! Just download the ISO and enjoy an OS that is quite literally out of this world!

If your new try LMDE.  Every once and a while I go distro crazy, trying out all kinds of stuff.  Unlike most, LMDE is not a huge pain in the ass.  Most stuff will probably work from the start...maybe.

if that is a DVI-A it makes no difference. Maybe cabling is better on DVI? I don't know. But probably you are just jerking around

VGA is best for standarisation

dvi-i is best for practicality.

The irritating thing about dvi is that you cant plug a dvi-i cable in a dvi-d port even if the pin-out is the same.

The bigger question is why would you ever link a picture of Windows ME in your signature? The others are fine but ME has no place for real Windows users. :)

On behalf of the forum community and as the official President of geekhack.org, I hereby designate this image as the official wallpaper of geekhack.org:

This beautiful piece of computer graphic artwork, exquisitely handcrafted with Windows 3.1, is conveniently sized at 640x480 pixels, so it should fit your desktop perfectly with no issues at all.

So, we've got an "Input Devices" subforum for mice, clickers, etc. So why don't we have an "Output Devices" subforum? Computers use a vast array of output devices such as speakers, monitors, displays, and lights. All of which I think are worth of discussion. What do you think?

Looks like Israel has troops on the ground now to attack and disable rocket launching sites for the Hamas terror network in Gaza. What do you think about it? Any opinions? Is it the right course of action?

You have a point there. Printers, of many different types, are another often-used computer output device.
