Old (Printed) FC660C vs. New (Dyesub) FC660C - Video
« on: Wed, 23 July 2014, 14:30:43 »
Previously, I did some keyboard science to demonstrate that new dyesub FC660Cs seem to have heavier domes than the older printed versions. Here is some more evidence to that point -- a comparison video. The dyesub version is much louder than the printed version. The effect is fairly apparent in the video, and even more so in real life. Just thought this might be of interest to some Topre users!

You're welcome. I think all of the boards in these videos have their own charms, but I agree, if I had to pick a favorite, it would be HHKB. Probably the dental banded one, although I've not had it long enough to be sure  :) New toys always seem more fun... gotta let the initial appeal pass before making a final judgment.

Thanks for the vid! I too like the way the HHKB sounds a little more, but the 660C has such a nice snappy pop to it, feels good man... gotta spend more time with both of them as well!  :p
