Is this GB still open for new orders? If I'd like to order a GH60, should I use the form in the OP? Another form? If not, will they be readily available somewhere else? I saw someone mention mechanicalkeyboards...

It would probably depend on whom you talked to there. I already discussed it with them, but not one PCB (final revision) will be publicly available before group buy orders ship. That is only fair to the people who supported this project with their money and supreme patience.

I'll let jdcarpe know to contact us when it's ready if he would like us to make a run.

I will be sure to do that. Once the GB members start receiving them, MK.com can stock them for everyone who missed out. But it wouldn't be very fair to those who put their faith and money into the GB to get bypassed in the process.

Working on it.  Not sure when we'll have them.

I'd like to put together complete kits for Phantom and ErgoDox (and GH60) eventually.

What's the latest on GH60?  I would still love to get a couple hundred of these made if the creators are on board.

I wouldn't call it a rumor its just a matter of waiting until the group buy is finished.

If Captain JD approves, I'm told we can have everything cut in two weeks. Now all those things still need to be

I'm still waiting on the sample plate to arrive. I believe there is some lead time involved in having it made.

I gave the word on getting the plate made. I was told 2 weeks lead time, but I'm sure that is to cover
the company if anything goes wrong on their end. As soon as I get the plate in hand it will be shipped to JD
for testing and inspection. If everything checks out, the lead time on finishing all 518 plates is two weeks.

TLDR about a month on plates!

Nope, both horizontal lines keep the switch in the plate. The extended cutouts are only to the left and right side.

Looks great from the pics!

That Phantom plate was made by WFD for the last GB. The radii on the corners looks to be slightly tighter than the new GH60, but that's not a big issue. It still looks to be well within tolerances for MX switches.

on a side note, can anyone give me a bill of materials for the smd's? looking into populating one of the blank pcb's I'm receiving to sell to someone else and need to figure out cost of all the diodes, controller, etc. if you don't want to post it here, a pm is perfectly acceptable. thanks in advance!

No, however there will be people selling some after the PCBs and the other stuff have been shipped to people (this will still take a while). Another option you have is Sprit's group buy which also has a nice PCB and still takes orders afaik.

Should be no problem once the project will be over, many people bought more than they need and AFAIK they'll see them on one of the keyboard store sites, mechanicalkeyboards I think
