ducky blank black and 8-bit heart enter keycaps (x-post)

I've always had that red enter key in my cart but never went through with it... That one enter gave that board so much life... I love it. I'd make my ducky look like that but I dun wanna spend money on that one cap.... but then again.. I might have too... WHY YOU MAKE IT LOOK SO GOOD?!

hahah thanks! the red color on the enter really stands out compare to the blanks so i think that's why it's so appealing.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I suspect he could exactly match it at any time.

Well if he ends up doing it, I'll be whetting something else, if you know what I mean... Okay, too much...

But then again, maybe a brocap that matches the HHKB grey is kind of bland and boring... NAWWWWWW... but seriously... maybe it would be kinda bland...

I flipped the spacebar and then realized that pressing the windows/alt keys felt bad. So I flipped them all. Now the spacebar doesn't stand out as much which is a nice plus.

Maybe it is because I have **** typing style, if I raised my wrists more instead of having them on my mousepad then maybe the flipped angle wouldn't feel so great.

Anyways, I think that is enough OT. Back to the keyboard additions :)

Agreed, however; with today's technology does the device really need to be the size of a deck of cards?

Why could they not create something like this that plugs into the back of your keyboard? Obviously micro or mini usb though.

Unfortunately, that massdrop Bluetooth brick doesn't work with the HHKB. :-(

Why not? Seems strange..

I think it's because of the USB hub. Probably the same reason the HHKB doesn't work with mobile devices like the iPhone, iPad.

One is to toggle between bluetooth and USB :D

The other is just there for looks (fill the empty hole) and because the bag came with 2.

nice, I want a bluetooth hhkb :-[

Hopefully I will get a guide written up this weekend. It's working well :D

anybody who tries outfitting an alps board with something a little different feels my pain....... :-\

my [flimsy] ducky 1087 with green alps

stuck some zenith ds on it

i was going to try to see how close the stab caps were, but even using a cc i could not pry the lid apart (after removing screws)

Added the soulfree Bluegreen keyset to my TKL.  It's a pretty cool color combo.  Dark blue green on light grey.
