itching to add a few colors... maybe the blue enter and/or the red esc/symbol key from granite
and update my keyboard pixel art sig  :))

Given that these Dolch DSA are ABS, I'd guess that they have none of the warping or off-centre stem issues that Granite had, at least that pic looks fine.  Any comments?

before anything, i have to say that i haven't mounted granite on any of the keyboards that i have.
however, i did notice that with the other dsa set that i have (skull squadron, abs doubleshot), there are noticeable gaps:
-- between e and r
-- between o and p
-- between z and x
-- between c and v
but i guess with the darker color of dolch, it's not as prominent.

i haven't really looked at the pics from granite, but if those are the same keys with the gaps, they have issue with the mold?

Yes, one 1x mold had an off-centre stem, which seems to have affected random keycaps in most sets.  Some are really bad, my granite set only has a few out of place.

I was wondering whether the Dolch DSA, being ABS, had the same problem.  Maybe not, as I have not heard anything of it until Granite arrived.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

From what I've heard and the pictures I've seen ABS DSA comes out warp free.

that is unfortunate for a beautifully designed set.
i'll definitely check my set when i finally decide to use it.
right now it's a toss up between coffee v2 and granite for my work keyboard

That light green is nice.  It would be a bit light by itself on the keycaps, but works perfectly with the darker green!

Thank you! Yeah I can sit and stare at the beautiful green for ever.. The little legends are cute! :)

How do you like typing with the flat DSA caps on your Lightsaver?

I have ordered a Lightsaver V2 and am wondering whether DSA profile is suitable for the angled case...

Thanks!

You have great taste in movies. Not only is I Saw The Devil a great movie, Kim Ji Woon is my favorite Korean director. My favorite film of his, if not my favorite Korean film, is A Bittersweet Life. It also stars Lee Byung Hun as the main; he's such an emotional actor. I love it.

I have ordered a Lightsaver V2 and am wondering whether DSA profile is suitable for the angled case...

it's not as natural as sculpted keys (like DCS) because with the flat key - the top faces the same angle as the keyboard, so it feels that when i'm typing i'm pushing at the same angle instead of downward. however, contrary to some of the posts, the 'steep' angle is not a deal breaker at all.

there is a way to make the keyboard get into a flat position. i use the flat lego pieces to raise the lower part of the light saver, 'legs' to even out the angle.  :))

i ordered v2 sets as well. and i'm pretty excited to get an arrow cluster at the bottom and still have a normal numpad layout.

Where is Zenuty these days, anyway?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Found the perfect spot for the keyboard root roof while not in use---Directly under the board.

So far I really prefer the the height of the board as it sits on the roof for ergonomic reasons. The roof does not move whatsovever underneath thanks to Fog's excellent EPDM material.
