Added Ducky White engraved pbt to my Novatouch. The pbt doesn't feel as nice as on the realforce, but it's OEM profile and feels quite "chunky" because of it's thickness.
The engraving is also difficult to see, which is great!

Very smoothly done! :thumb:
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Nice, I presume these are banggood blanks?

Yup banggood is my friend.   Now I can Colemak and Plover to my hearts content.
Without the labels I am being forced to finally learn the top row.  I have always cheated on my numerics and shifted numerics.

Plover on a qwerty keyboard is forcing me to keep on my home row and stop flailing about.   I have developed quite a flailing style over the years and it just doesn't work well when you start trying to find chords on an offset keyboard.  The solution will likely be buying a stenoboard and saving my poker for qwerty/colemak.

I've also starteed emacs'ing with org-mode and between them all my brain is feeling just a little challenged.    Emacs control sequences as touch typing are also forcing me to keep my hands on the home row.

Steno, emacs and org-mode have the potential to be a pretty significant improvement to my daily workflows but the learning curves are steep.   I had forgotten how much work it was learning to type.
Keyboard error F1 to continue.

Poker 2, Gherkin, Lets Split, Planck, Filco

I know, I know its blasphemous. I spent all my money on the keyboard and now I don't have enough for some good quality keycaps. :p

Hopefully I can get my hands on some, like that BSP Desko set, in the future

The name of the dye is iDye Poly. I used the purple one. You boil some water, mix in the colour and the colour strengthener, then let it boil to mix, then let it to cool to around 60C, then put the caps in until desired colour, about 4 minutes for me. (This is for pbt caps)

IPA's can be hit or miss, I myself prefer more of a citrus taste and less bitter like zombie dust from three floyds brewery or even anti hero from revolution, a bit sharp but still enjoyable. If you like belgium wheat I would recommend belgian white from flying dog ( all their beers are amazing, my personal favorite is gonzo imperial porter) you may also like saison style beers Coup D'Etat from revolution is a fantastic example of quality saison style. In my experience I have found that you can't rule out one style of beer based on style because they vary widely between brewers.
eh o well

Nice, how are you liking dsa? It took a while to get used to it but I think it's nice.

It's definitely taking an adjustment period, given my other caps are OEM or DCS. To me, it seems like they're a superior typing solution, but going into CS:GO was really weird cause my muscle memory was way off. Still, I enjoy it, and they're PBT.

Hopefully more buys happen with DSA cause a few more sets like this would be great. Though I think I'll be using these for awhile since Galaxy Class is so nice to look at.

Agreed, the orange accents in absolute moderation look great. Your profile pic, however, frightens me Spamray.

I'm hanging out to see the yellow addons!

How you liking it Ray?
I like SA but I'm thinking I may prefer contoured vs all row 3.

On colemak I can see where it could be beneficial for typist and I kind of got used to it but I don't think its for me.

The ducky premiere is very solid and the stabilizers are great, very springy and it has a typist mode where the FN becomes menu and all the fancy features get turned off and hardware colemak or dvorak are nice features to.

QFS with MX green.  So far I'm really liking these SA keycaps, the weight, the feel, the legends, the sound - wonderful :D

Looks good Rowdy!  :thumb: I really like the set but... to me, it's just a bit -too- green. If it were only a little more pine-green, it'd be just right. Whiners can't be choosers. x3
