Does the base kit come in a unique sleeve with original art? Or is it going to be a generic sleeve? Thanks

Does it close at the beginning (00:01) or end (23:59) of October 1?

November? Usually i try to let every vendor know that they should close it down on the final day 23:59 their local time zone. So November 1st 23:59 - but syncing a closure across all vendors is always difficult and some keep it open for an extra day or so by mistake. My recommendation is to not wait until the final hours.  )

It'll feature a custom sleeve! Design is yet TBD - but likely a very scaled down minimalistic sleeve like for nines.

Went in for the base and the (de)accent kits. Wasn't planning on getting any new keysets for the rest of the year but this was too good to pass up.

OMG, this set is beautiful, especially at second glance it sets itself apart from the rest of the GMK world.

I don't understand being so angry that something doesn't exactly cater to you. I've seen tons of keycaps that don't appeal to me for various reasons, I don't feel the need to berate the people running it.

I can understand being turned off by the accents, but I think the reaction was way out of line. It's one thing to go "I wish this didn't have accents" but another to go "Screw those un-optional accented keys in the 40% kit.

Tone aside, I don't quite follow this complaint.  I'm looking at the 40s kit, and I don't see any accent-color keys.  Those are all in the (de)accent kit.  What am I missing?  Is he talking about the legend color on the tabs?

He means the legend color, it was the original way for me to accent the set. It is okay to have an opinion on it, I don't mind. ❤️

It's not doing too bad, it's doing its own thing among all these titans running simultaneously. Base should make it just fine, but childkits besides deaccent will need to pick up moving forwards.  I'll see what I can do towards that.

yeah that's sad if this gmk could not hit moq, it looks very fantastic. i think if the accent add to the base, the moq is just a number. this month has too much gmk release, while November only a few.

noob here, what size space bars come with the base kit? do i need to purchase the 40s kit for a spacebar to work on my recently recieved fjell?

Well I think most sets running now can be considered the next big thing as well, really good stuff coming out!

 That said, firefly is different and not everyone understands my design i think, maybe that's why? About 60-70% of people buying base are also buying the deaccent kit which inherently kills my original design. It's ok, though, I like to offer options and love seeing people interested regardless of their personal take and preference on firefly!

What I like about the set is that it's very monotone all around and then the legends offer the splash of colour and kind of stand out, like the fireflies in the night that they're supposed to be! While I don't think that the NorDeUK set will see the light of day I hope I can at least get my hands on a base kit.

I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
