Nice! Which computer is your daily pc?

There is only 1, the box in the corner is a foot rest, and the one to the left of that is my Energy Sub.

The Corsiar 250D on the left of the desk houses:
4670K
Asrock Z87 itx
Thermaltake Water 3.0 pro
660Ti w/ gtx 670 EVGA cooler and back plate (quieter and better cooling than stock Nvidia reference cooler)
8gb Samsung magic ram
1tb Samsung HDD
250gb Samsung EVO ssd

The case will be replaced in the near future with a Syrillian Acrylic test bench now that I have my own office and can keep the baby away.  I will be redoing the sleeving as well to go with the cable on my keyboard and the Toxic set.

Mostly because it was one of the last things that an acquatance from OCN that passed away from cancer a few years ago built.  It is beautiful and should be used rather than left in a box.

Hackintosh FTW!

How did you like building in the fortress ft03?

Well I decided to use a 770, 2 SSDs, a 3.5in HD, and an H60 so some case modding was required to mount it all. But the thermals are good and I love the look and size of the case. Overall it's a great case but you have to be a bit creative to make it work with everything.  :D

The FT03 mini only takes 10in graphics cards but the 770 is 10.5in so I had to cut part of the bottom bracket to make room. Also adding the H60 removed the place to mount the 3.5in drive so I drilled holes for that and the SSDs. All the modifications made the fan filter useless so I had to elongate it and drill a couple holes. Overall it was pretty easy it just required some tinkering to make it work and look nice.

Yeah, I do quite a lot of work there. I keep a mostly paperless office. Most of my work lives in the cloud - in Git repos and the like.

Very nice indeed :)

I'd be happy if my home "office" was half as neat as that!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

lol that's exactly what it is. It's called a Natico Decision Maker / Paper weight.
I use it to make most of my purchasing decisions... but then sometimes I just keep spinning it until it says "yes", because I really really want to buy the item.

My supervisor has one of those on her desk...the only problem is that I usually spin it and mentally ask inappropriate questions...or my supervisor asks something normal and the answer makes it weird.

Nice do you use that sys to switch between your headphones and your speakers?
exactly. I just had to switch the input with output. Plugging in wires and unplugging them was too difficult for me

Currently working at my sister's place in W Hollywood, CA.

That there is how you use a tablet like a champ.

It's better than a laptop because when you're using it in public places, people won't think you're a nutcase for carrying/using a second keyboard.

The way you have it seems to work well. Surface Pro 3 + 60% mech board = closest thing to laptop with mechanical board.

Could you elaborate a bit on your audio setup?
I have a Q701 as well (waiting for me to unbox), and wondering about what DAC/amp combo should I go with. Currently debating between the O2/ODAC or the Magni/Modi.
Any advice/tips would be much appreciated.

Keeping it simple on my desk right now. In that keep-as-little-in-front-of-me mood. I wish I had my Kensington Slimblade with me right now... I should also hook up my numpad 23UB to the HHKB... but I feel like it'll be too much clutter right now.
