An earlier mail said invoices go out every other weekend… Hopefully a bunch go out this weekend, since the deadline is Tuesday and I haven't gotten one yet!

For those worrying about the deadline, it says "Order Deadline" so if you've ordered you should be able to pay at a later date/when OP sends out the invoices

Since OP seems to be absent, I think you can still place an order. I placed mine a couple of days ago and wasn't invoiced yet so I guess the ordering period isn't over.

Yeah, you probably won't have too many options with orange LEDs.

Given that OP took over this group buy from someone else, I'm still optimistic that his silence isn't bail - just that this was not first priority for him.

I think that the "Jan 31" update still gives us a couple of weeks patient waiting time. Come Feb. 1 I'll be looking for an update.

IIRC, 14th was the original date. Then OP added the 31st statement in somewhat more emphasized terms, and appears to have overlooked the older (earlier) date. I'd assume the intention was to extend by two weeks

I've been traveling, so I might be wrong on this. Feel free to correct me.

Actually you'd be incorrect. Earlier in the thread the OP asked if we wanted to make the deadline earlier so we'd get them faster, and we agreed. So he changed the deadline from the 31st to the 14th, but still kept in the original date for some reason so I can see where there'd be confusion if you didn't read that part of the thread.

Edit: not to spread fear or anything. Just saying if we hadn't heard anything before the reversal deadline, it would be fair to want the money back.

I'm getting to be in this boat. I think I have three weeks left until I can't get my money back through paypal.

The instructions are at the very beginning of the thread.

I'd suggest not sending the money as a 'gift' at this point though, and just requesting an invoice. We are beyond the deadline and there has been no sign of the organizer since December.

I wouldn't say typical of GB's here, just need to be careful when dealing with people who haven't had experience doing them or haven't been vetted, etc.

In that case, always better to receive an invoice than send money as a gift, as I'm afraid people have for this one.
