This theard for everyone buy beastmask's PCB but dont have any aluminum case. Spirit run this GB PCB in here: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=50580.0

prototype of V6 and V8T alu case: http://imgur.com/a/5jchx - http://imgur.com/a/KQD17

This case will support:
125$ V6 for 60% PCB: face and thumb. *It's only case, If u want plate, it'll take more 35$
155$ V7 for 70% PCB: only mx-miniU not another mx-mini. *It's only case, If u want plate, it'll take more 35$
250$ V8A for 80% PCB: a87 ps2avr and ps2avrU. *Include plate
300$ V10 for 100% PCB: new A87U-Ex. *Include plate

Special:
  • Use alloy aluminum 7075 made in EU. It's one of the best alloy aluminum, but it's high cost.
  • 3 type surface: glossy, sandblast and brush aluminum (like one prototype).
  • All hard anodizing. 10 colour avaiable: base color are silver, black and red. Sample color here: http://imgur.com/a/jSUSc (My color will see deeper than that by hard anodizing). I'll take sample real color in hard anodizing soon.
Add 5$ more for another color and 8$ for Pink color (I dont know why this color so expensive). See color :

    • Gold-S:
    • Green ANE:

I wish the v6 didn't have any feet...I am not a fan of feet on 60% cases or TKL cases

Good luck regardless!

For those who don't know, BeastMask created the PCBs that sprit is selling at the moment in his GB.

So PCBs in Spirit GB will fit in these plate/cases?
(no one has seen those PCBs or some scheme)

I think I am in for a v8. Will there be an option for 86 key as well as 84 key? Also, will the plates allow for swapping of switch stems?

$125 for a 7075 aluminum hard anodized case is a steal! I'm interested in a 70% case, but not sure whether I should wait for LZ-MX GH or not...

I would be interested in this, but I will have to wait until I see Sprit's metal cases before I can decided one way or the other.

Will these be compatible with Sprit's plates? (sorry if the answer is obvious, I'm new to the whole DIY keyboard scene)

So when sprit gets around to making a 98/99 key (similar to the quickfire TK layout) pcb, could you design a case for it? The V6 and V8 cases are beauties.

I dont know about this layout. I never see a87 support this? Design this is easy, but i think beastmask dont make any sw upper arrow key... like phantom

Since he called the new A87 "94%", I believe it do support the layout like Phantom does

I assume the v6 would be poker compatible then? I would love to throw my poker in the v6.

If that is true, I just hope the purple color is a darker purple because I don't want it looking girly.

Also, once you get the colors and can start the GB, do you have any clue how long it would take from start to finish?

Thanks  :)

Count me in for a 60% case, they're too damn cheap not to get another one :)
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.
