i have no idea what those are but they look cool so i'll endorse it
Look like some kind of buckle? They look cool indeed, what are you gonna do with them switchnollie?

Yeah they're buckles :)

They're normally used for mountaineering, military, parachuting etc so they're really strong and quality

Just using them for a cosplay I'm working on.

I think because I specifically mentioned video games in my email, maybe they had overstock of Goro in their warehouse? Either way, it's a little ray of happiness in this endless sea of depression I've been drowning in lately.

On the bright side the mx blacks on this were one of the older batch blacks before they started getting scratchy and they are broken in a ton so they are super smooth, so I can make use of them later. I just want the PCB, but this thing is still disgusting  :(

It's not fun. I'm just trying to desolder it as fast as possible and get over this nightmare. The whole front bezel of it was coated in what I hope was powdered sugar LOL

And ofc the very deceptive ebay picture. The keycaps were a hint that it might not have been treated the best but good god

LMAO. I mean, shet, with the amount of shine on those keycaps from the photo you uploaded, i wouldn't be surprised if it was owned by a crack-cocaine addict who was just rubbing their fingers on the board all day bc it 'just felt good bruh' lul

Jesuss... how do you get that much shine on Tab and right Alt... lmao.

while drooling over this post, (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=40414.0), I mentioned that I liked the way that pcb looked with the diodes as through hole components instead of SMD. A community member "pngu" made this pcb cuz he liked the look too.

He made it with just 7u layout and it has no mounting holes, intended for sandwich or top mount keyboards.

bare-bones as can be. Still waiting to test some cases out and see what I can get it to live in.

Nice. I like the look of that too. Would buy one for looks. Oh, and the right diodes too, I guess. Is it standard thickness? QMK?

got this beautiful board recently, unused and just with some micro-scratches from storage. Probably made by GMK, with pristine caps ;)

(seeker knobs are made of steel/alu)

(hellgrau doubleshots with side printed legends)

(PS/2 and USB connections)

(2xAA batteries on the back, anyone knows for what it is?)

(naked)

(diodes in all the switches, NKRO model)

(rubber membrane in function keys, makes the switches more silent but mushy)

hope you enjoy as much as I do ;)

ur getting all the wild controllers

I don't even have an N64, but I've heard so many great things about this one. Retro games is #2 hobby, and I love supporting 3rd-party makers.
I'll get adapters so I can use this on the PC and Switch.  ;D
