I've seen in my past gameplay videos and my current gameplay videos that my i key as well as other keys are starting to double register. Also, the entire oem keycap set was chipped a while ago and i think it's time for me to get a new one. How do i fix?

Is there a pattern, like all the keys being in the same row, or are they all just keys you use more often than the rest?  If there is a pattern it could be a failing controller, if heavy use it could be the switches which can be desoldered and replaced.

The keys that are double tapping include the I and O keys, and sometimes the a and e keys as well. Mainly the vowel keys are doing it but constant letters can also do it. Needless to say i do not have a solder at hom and my keyboard is long past its warranty so i'm thinking im getting a replacement this summer. And you know what that means: fk the linears go clickies

Yup, sounds like you managed the millions of clicks required to kill some switches.

Clickies, so a model M?

So it's just regular wear and tear then? It seems like due to my fast typing speed keyboards fear me. I wore mine out a lot more faster than it should have.

Could it be dust?  You could get a can of compressed air and squirt it in each switch while it's pressed (keycap removed) and see if that helps.
