Haha, yeah I noticed that set and thought the same thing, well more so with my original Octagon. I thought it was ironic since I was thinking of Coca/Nuka Cola when I saw Jukebox and the Red Octagon.

I think I'm actually going to go for a silver base and a titanium gray bottom for the SNES GMK set though. It totally changed my plans. I remember when the Jazz Solo Cup vs SNES poll went up but I forgot all about that design until it popped up on reddit the other day.

I figure since I already have a red one, I might as well, haha.  I hear you on buying instead of saving. It's too easy to do that in this hobby.

Yeah, this is a common issue with the 02D software, I think.

Create a text file and rename it whatever you want, but change the extension to .hex

Then create your keymap and save it over that file.

In otherwords, you need to have a dummy file to save keymaps. O2D trends to screw up if you try to create a new file.

I was finally able to flash the board with a hex file that was to made to my liking. Once you get everything done this board is amazing, a little confusing learning how to use the keymapper and flash the board but it didn't take too long.

Elton was told the second batch would be shipped a month after the first batch. If everything goes to plan then you probably will have it before Christmas. The mail is going to start slowing down to with the holidays.

 , at least you know you're board will be nothing but perfect when it comes. I'm more of a fan of the aluminum bottom than the acrylic, the plastic plate also gives a beautiful illumination under the caps.

Also, yeah... Thanks to expenditures, I'm likely only going to get the aluminum bottom for my Octagon v2 instead of all three. Also partially because I can see myself thinking it's a cool idea to swap out at will but quickly realizing it's a pain in the ass to undo and refasten all the screws every time I want to change the bottom. Plus, the 11 degree incline goes perfect with my Lightpad and wrist rest, nooot to meniton the fact I have a spare set of side insert wedges that are just waiting for that alu bottom.

Switching the bottom is a pain. I had already taken mine off so many times to swap out an indicator LED, to take pics of the acrylic bottom, etc.

The file trick fixed it for me, it was a little confusing at first with the error but thanks to E3E it was an easy fix.

Unfortunately my flat acrylic bottom came out of the packaging super scratched up. It was packaged quite well, so I won't really know how it got scratched this badly if it happened in transit but...

I don't think anybody has them, the only time I ever even saw those being mentioned was in Leeku's Compact SQ group buy. I'm almost 100% positive that you could not order them for the Orion v2.
