New review from Shoobs:

Updated(2023/6/10):

LY is a hybrid material with an extremely low coefficient of friction, they are currently the smoothest material, the coefficient of friction can reach 0.02, the coefficient of friction of POM is about 0.3, at the same time just like the special sound that can be brought by the switch of all POM material, all LY material can bring a very unique sound, with an extended spring and Long Pole stem, he will have a very elastic and feedback feeling

Content:
People say LY is the smoothest material, so what if every part of switches is made of LY?

That's really too smooth! And the sound is too clean! Try them!

Anybody want to clarify what LY is? Is it just some proprietary blend of two or more of the following (PC/nylon/UHMWPE/POM)?

Yup, to my knowledge, it's just a marketing name for POM mixed with UPE (UHMWPE) and/or PTFE.

I also landed here looking for an answer, only to find out OP is just copy-pasting the same vague phrase over again. I recently bought some Swagkeys' Popcorn switches which are also made from the same material, but neither their site says what "LY" stands for.

What is LY?

LY is an UHMWPE blend made by JWK aimed to combine UHMWPE's natural lower coefficient of friction, self-lubricating properties, and resistance to abrasion with enhanced structural integrity. UHMWPE on its own is an extremely soft material prone to deforming in instances of high stress such as when stems are friction fitted into keycaps. This can result in wobble, or in extreme cases keycaps simply falling off. This blend ensures those issues do not occur. Additionally, the increased rigidity will produce a louder, fuller sound on bottom-out than a comparable pure UHMWPE stem.

It's probably a proprietary blend which means we'll probably never actually know what it is. That's just a guess.
