Yeah it is, The proto was teased on the blacksimon discord and it says that.

cherry blacks - unlubed - filmed and springswapped with tx 55g mediums - alu Plate | pretty happy with this, the blacks were cherry picked so they weren't that scratchy to begin with, but currently breaking them in, may lube them with a dry lube like ro59 or ptfe powder.

lubed with tribosys 3203 | like topre a lot, prefer it lubed but did make less tactile but that might have been a skill issue. probably will get more tactile over time as the domes age.

bad orange alps lol | definitely needs a restoration. planning on wax boiling them and maybe a replacement pcb because the board has only 2 key rollover apparently.

gateron yellows - lubed with 205g0 - 62g tx mediums - pc plate | probably my favourite keyboard already, feels super nice and sounds pretty good, it's got a great layout as well. probably gonna build this with mx browns, I feel like it would suit the board more.

stock with silent reds | Pretty cool looking board, the silent reds are actually good, they are smooth and I don't mind the mushiness (it's not even that mushy as well). the layout is pretty weird, but is useable. will probably mod this in the future. maybe a pcb and plate swap, change the keycaps to something dolch like, and also spring swap the springs in the silent reds.

stock, needs a cleaning and probably replacement foam. Do plan to change layout so it has split bs and rs, as well as ansi enter.

Built with new nixies on pc half plate. Love this board already, probably the best looking board I own, those brass accents are so mint. Really like it as is, but I do want to try an alu build (probably with nixies as well) just to experiment with that.

Pontus do you have an approximate estimate on when the gb will run (just in general) as I would like to know when to start saving.

Still great project :)

I will share more details regarding a potential group buy when I get a vendor on board (hopefully soon). Personally hoping for late Q1 2024 but it depends on the vendor really, I will give an as early heads up as possible ;D

Thank you! I really enjoy plateless boards and I am glad that there are others that do as well  ;D

A bit late but as the others have said all the proto pictures feature CRP 2551had R4  ;D

Heyo, I hope everyone is doing well. It's time for a small update  ;D
Case has been slightly adjusted with some QOL changes to make the building process more enjoyable. The main changes are the placement of the solenoid and the inclusion of a grommet to secure smaller cables. The solenoid is now mounted on top of the PCB instead of on the bottom case floor which means you won't have to fiddle around with any cables between the two halves. PCB is being reworked to work with these changes. IC form is still open for feedback so if you want to yell at anything about the new design please do so there.

No news regarding potential vendors quite yet but I am hoping to be able to get something by the end of this month, stay tuned

If it can be launched in a data general dasher colorway, TAKE MY MONEY. I mean, I’ll take one maybe two regardless, but that would be *chefs kiss* for the dasher keycaps I’ve been saving.

I am happy to announce that CannonKeys graciously have picked up this project. Check out their coming soon page if you want a reread on all the specs! Also happy to share that the colours have been confirmed to blue, Black, & a warm gray. I hope you all find a colour you connect with! The board will also be offered in both the blockered and teased blockerless version!

ISO Enter on your prototype is tilted. You need to place the switch in normal position - most of MX switches have stem tilt in south-north direction.

Good catch! I originally went with this since it seemed like cherry did either rotation for their own boards. For the next revision it has been rotated to accommodate more switches and keycaps. I will share updated images & renders of the pcb soon to show off everything that has been adjusted!  ;D

Yea, Cherry had both variants, but seems tilt on usual direction will fixed with stab.

Hello everyone! Time for a small little update. This weekend Jae from prototypist built the blue 21xx prototype on stream, sorry for not announcing it here but thanks to everyone who still managed to drop by!
The VOD is available on youtube https://youtu.be/dxx7H0_lX9M
This prototype isn't fully representative for the final version since there have been some changes after this unit was made as specified in my previous update. If you just want to see the general experience of the board I highly recommend checking it out though!

The prototype with the finalized design will soon be finished. Hoping to be able to get it shipped around for some streams and photo sessions. Hopefully I will be able to give a bit more of a heads up for those streams, stay tuned! :D

There hasn't been any interest shown in HHKB tops before and there are no plans to offer it in the group buy. Sorry for not being to accommodate it this time!
