Hello Geekhack!
« on: Tue, 18 November 2014, 11:32:25 »
Hello to all of my fellow keyboard enthusiasts  :))

I posted to here once a few months ago, but I never posted, so here I am again!
I have currently on my desk a custom Ergodox w/ MX Clears, a Plastidipped Ducky Shine 3 (Red LED) w/ MX Browns, and a Model M, with a few other mechs in storage.

I'm currently using my Shine 3, a Razer Naga Epic, and Sennheiser HD 598s.

I've been hanging out on the mechanical keyboards subreddit for a few years. Next ones on the list in no particular order:
    Realforce tkl
    White Hhkb
    Duck eagle
    Gh60
    10 more doxes

The magni/modi set from schiit audio is a very good combo (DAC and headphone amp) at a good price.

there are also headphone amp/dac threads like this one:

Welcome to Geekhack!

I've said it before and I'll say it again - that is the nicest Ergo Dox I have ever seen :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'd highly suggest the FiiO E6 if you were looking for something cheap and cheerful that won't break the bank. Hi too!
