EDIT: Though I understand what everybody is saying, I am still a little bit confused. When I genuinely appreciate somebody's caps pic or photo or setup, am I not allowed to post "really nice setup you got there" and a question like "what kind of table do you have"? Because A LOT OF PEOPLE are doing that here. Seems a bit random to say that because I post so much I should not do that ever.
Everybody's going to have differing opinions on this, but just to reiterate the opinion I shared in the Milestone thread: it's not the quality of said posts, rather the quantity of posts with that level of quality. And again, many of us post low quality posts (low quality meaning "nice setup, what is x?", not "hur dur posty posty"), and I've probably crossed the line a few times myself. I've caught myself on posting sprees before, and have consciously decided to not publish responses that were typed up, because I realized I was basically making a post for every thought I had and it was a bit excessive.
Of course everyone has varying limits to what they deem acceptable for these posts, so I'm sure someone is still frustrated with perceived leniency while you are frustrated and feeling censored. I assure you it's never personal, and is simply intended to steer the forum toward some sort of equilibrium where we can all engage in banter and have fun with each other, while also avoiding the issue of wading through a bunch of non-contributory posts to find substantial information.
For the record, I don't think anyone is telling you to NEVER make those posts.
