All orders shipped, and left overs are available here. Image stolen from ped in the interest check thread.

It is an orange ABS key engraved with black infill.

I am slightly changing the prices from the interest check by 10-15 cents per key since pounds to dollars fluctuates, shipping the keys to the US is about $15, and I don't want to throw money away. If there is any extra money afterwards I will donate it to geekhack. I am also looking for someone to handle the UK end of this group buy so I only send one package over seas and someone else can do the shipping on that end.

50 keys $3.25 each
100 keys $2.50 each
200 keys $2.20 each <--- We are here
400 keys $2.05 each

Total prices are above plus paypal fees and around $3-4 for a bubble mailer unless an order requires something larger or is going to someplace other than the great 48.

As my first group buy I would love constructive criticism. If I can do something better or cheaper send me a PM. If you want to help me, send me a PM. Looking to close around the end of July, lets say the 27th. If we need to add more time we will.

It says in my original posting that I have to bake in a little of the shipping to get it to me, and then my shipping to everyone else should be considerably cheaper than the £4.50 per order at the QWERKeys site.

Might have someone over at Deskthority to send the European orders out from the UK, but if someone else is more cavalier about helping, and has done it before I'd be more comfortable with that.

So I'm starting to decide that parcel post is a good enough shipping method that maybe it isn't worth the trouble getting another person in Europe to ship from across the pond. Splitting the shipment, and the money for shipping, and sharing all the contact lists and invoicing, etc. If someone in England gets a plastic keycap are they going to pay that much in taxes on it?
I really need convincing that splitting this is the right thing to do. I've received things parcel post, or equivalent from China and Canada, and they have been fine. I know how to package keycaps after getting 10+ different bubble mailers in the last few months

It really depends on what you order, and who it is from. I'm the first to do this big of a group buy from QWERKeys so I really have no idea on production. Hopefully they are done in a week or two and I get them a couple days after that to ship out to everyone else.

Only 4 orders totaling 10 keys unpaid. Not too bad by payment deadline and one of those orders may trickle in any day. The remaining three I have not heard back from yet but am still not sure when the keys will get to me from the UK, or when Hoggy will get his keys for the Europe orders.

I may have overestimated the speed at which I can pay and pack for shipping. I'll probably get all the domestic stuff done tonight, and the non European shipping done by Saturday for dropping off at the post office Monday. International stuff takes even longer since you have to fill out a customs form by hand.

Dropped off all the US orders at the post office. Will crank out the remaining 19 international orders throughout the week, these are a major pain in the ass to do over regular orders that can be printed through PayPal. Have to do them all by hand

sweet. got mine today. i pushed it in my Esc and it got stuck. it broke my keycap puller.. sigh. but yeah.

side note: not sure if this is normal but the key is not centered into the Esc hole. its shifted to the left. is it my pcb or is it the key. (thats why i tried taking it out again but i broke my puller)

Something crafty with paper clips or small screw drivers? Hard to say without pictures. I've put it on and off my FC700R a couple times without issue, I can tinker with my KBT Pure and SS7G when I get home.

Perhaps insert a thin flat blade screwdriver just under the key cap, and while holding the cap steady so it does not tilt or twist, gently rotate the screwdriver from side to side to ease the cap off. Important to not let the cap tilt or it might damage the stem.

What brightness (mcd) of led did you use on your Kmac, Hashbaz?

It wouldn't let any backlighting through on my Ducky Shine II...
