Long time reader, just recently registered. I have been into keyboards and layouts for about 7 years and started out with a DAS KEYBOARD on which I learned touch typing the German layout NEO. I got pretty good at it within a couple of years:
I got more interested in layouts and tried some more modern ones like ADNW and NEO3 experimentals but when I preordered the Truly Ergonomic TECK I switched to BU-TECK-XCV which is optimized for the TECK. It was a pain to learn a new layout again but by now I'm pretty good at it, too and am very happy with it:
Right now I'm trying to buy an Ergodox from czarek because from what I read it's vastly superior to the TECK and I'm really looking forward to it.
