that spacing looks interesting, does this mean it'll use a custom pcb?

Hi hali, yes a custom pcb was designed due to the slightly wider spacing. The decision was made to keep the key clusters evenly separated.

The low front height was a major priority so I'm glad you like it! The exploded view will be uploaded soon along with some other pictures.

I really love this design. Are there any thoughts about possible colors that are going to be available?

Thank you for the support, there will definitely be updates within the coming days on here and on the social media links above

Yes! More pictures in colors spanning the rainbow will appear soon. In the meantime, please check out the Interest Check form where some possible color options have already been listed. In the form, you can also have your say on what color you would like. Appreciate the love and hopefully there will be a color you love as well.

The design language here is intriguing, the chonkier top and bottom bezels are definitely a nice touch and it's good to see a low front height as well. Definitely pretty unique, GLWIC!

I filled out the IC, but I just wanted to say it again here that it would be really nice to be able to change the top piece color. Even if the only other option would be black, I think a darker color would be a nice option to have, and it would be a lot more attractive to purchase imo.

Thanks for taking the time to fill out the IC. The idea of changing the color of the top and bottom pieces has never really occurred but it's a good idea and something that'll definitely be looked into.

Currently the PCB is MX only. If there is enough interest for Alps then the support will be added, so please address this in the Interest Check form as an option with some details (i.e. Alps Only PCB or Alps/MX PCB). Having said that, implementing the feature is not hard, the only issue would be the higher price.

I'm still trying to decide if I like or dislike the overall aesthetic design. So I won't comment on looks.

However, your plate is designed in such a way that will not only be very flexible, it will actually be unstable to type on. Especially in the corners. Your load path has a toooon of space from the end corners to the first connection point of the leaf spring. The thermal has a similarly designed load path, but there are 3 connection points from the leaf springs to the main plate body. And even then, the corners on the Thermal were especially flexy as well.

This plate has only 4 points to provide stability to the pcb/plate assembly. On a TKL that's not nearly enough. I would suggest redesigning the mounting of the plate to provide more connection points for support.
