Why do i have such low accuracy on my mouse?
« on: Sat, 04 January 2025, 06:03:27 »
Again, i am using a bad mouse which weighs 96 grams. Because it is so heavy, i have a hard time aiming targets fast and i have a hard time doing snipe shots in games. Even worse, i have a bad processor which leads to low frame rates and other stuff. I notice that i have a hard time making fast movements and sometimes my hand slips off the mouse https://omegle.onl/ vshare .

The heavy vs light mouse thing is bs, it's all about repetition, just like light vs heavy keys you'll adjust. There may be some truth to lighter mice being a bit better but not to the extent you're blaming it.

Always adjust your mouse settings in the game to match your desktop or what you're familiar with. This builds not just hand/eye coordination but also muscle memory. If your mice settings change all the time you can never just flick to the right spot. And if you're getting stuttering from a low end processor that can also cause issues due to lag and stuttering making it almost impossible to judge.

In regards to slipping off the mouse, as Apple famously said, "you're holding it wrong". Some mice are palm grip some are claw grip, using the wrong grip can create issues depending on the mouse design. You could also use some sandpaper or scotchbrite to rough up the surface. Lastly, maybe turn your mouse sensitivity up, then you won't have to make such jerky movements.  I don't care about how "everyone uses low resolution", it's kind of odd how mouse makers brag about DPI yet according to everyone no one seems to use even a tiny fraction of it.

I generally set my dpi to where I only have to make slight movements, and a hard plastic mouse pad has helped a lot with control. If I hear my mouse sliding on the pad the dpi is too low.
According to measurements, the most extreme movement I make going from one screen corner to another is less than 1.5", so my mouse pretty much lives in that 2.25" sq space.

I'm similar.
I can cross a monitor in about 3/4in, 1.5in for both screens, been that way forever regardless of screen size or resolution, keeps it consistent. Also cuts down on wrist strain and increases speed.
