There's a link in the IC where all the layouts for viper and eagle. Tapatalk won't let me highlight the link to copy and paste.

I'll find out about the alps question.

When I find out the weight of these, I'll start invoicing.

The red colour is the same as the duck minis. I'll get a pic when I can.
There was a user who managed to get 4 of them from the korean gb.  He/she said it weighs about 2 kg but that was probably just the board and not whole box.

Do you know if a acrylic bottom/middle plate is possible just like with the Orion? If so, do you have the dimensions?

Also a general question regarding the Viper/HHKB layout, where on earth do we find 1.75 unit bottom row caps?

I'm pretty sure those are 1.5x caps.

Viper bottom row looks like: 1x - 1.5x - 7x - 1.5x - 1x to me.

From here.

That's definitely the layout tjweir. But perhaps Rewind was referring to the short right shift layout?

Will there eventually be a PCB only option like there was for the Lightsaver?

Or is anyone CONUS that only wants the case and plate?

Some quick questions:

Can I have the eagle but with a normal, full length R_SHIFT? aka poker 2 layout

Also, this means that switches aren't included and I have to get my own switches right?

Thanks

The OP has a more info tab which links you to Duck0113's page. He has pictures of what layouts are possible

Can I have the eagle but with a normal, full length R_SHIFT? aka poker 2 layout

Also, this means that switches aren't included and I have to get my own switches right?

First picture shows the layout you're looking for.

Also, this means that switches aren't included and I have to get my own switches right?

Included in this set:
Aluminium housing (Aluminum 6061) in black, silver, blue-gray, or red
MX Reinforcement plate (STS-304 1.5T)
PCB presoldered
Fixing bolts

Doesn't seem like there are switches involved so yes, you'll have to source your own.

Pretty sure there are solder holes for both shift positions. And doesn't seem like any switches are included.

I'm guessing my costs are gonna be:
220 for case + PCB
60 bucks for shipping (ugh)
50 bucks for switches
10 bucks for stabs
15 bucks for LEDs
35 for assembly
??? for shipping to me

Luckily, I've already bought everything in preparation for this buy, so I am set  :thumb:

Not sure if that included the dreaded paypal feels.  Which is actually a fair amount for this purchase.  That assembly sounds really cheap too XD.  Lubing and spring swapping is a pain in the ass.  Luckily I plan on going 65g blues so I won't have to bother with lubing.

Absolutely!  Standing offer to anyone else to give advice, as well.  I'm by no means the most experienced builder here, but I love sharing knowledge and helping, so that's totally fine with me.   :thumb:  Also, the Living Soldering Thread is a great starting point, in case you haven't found that resource.

Also, I am offering casual / low cost assembly, to anyone interested.  However, I like to see people build something for themselves, because it is quite satisfying, so that's why I say what I've said above.  So if you'd like to contact me for either of these two things, don't hesitate to PM.  :)

I may have to pm you some questions regarding resistors for the led's or other things along those lines when the time comes.  I've done switch soldering on my qfr a couple times but never really messed with led's.

There are 40 vipers and 30 eagles available total.  There is an order confirmation on the front page if you wish to count them to see how many of each is left.

The new google doc doesn't allow me to publish the sheet without exposing the other sheets on the same doc.  The older one allowed it, so I'm just using the old doc from the IC..if anyone know how to let me know.  Also =CountIF(Range,"*") on the old doc doesn't work as well, but works before???It works on the new one. So messed up.

Anyways, I just got home...going to read through the PMs and update the sheet..

Yeah, I'm going for stock clears, as I've heard great things, so no pesky lubing and spring swapping.
As for the assembly price, I forgot to add 10 bucks for the LEDs, but that includes the cost of assembling my Light Pad, as well.
I'm going through Tjcaustin, if anyone was wondering.

I also need  clear switch tops. I hope QWER is going to stock them before I get the kit because $.50 per piece on techkeys is a little too expensive for my taste.

I have pink switch stickers. I also have a whole sheet of white ones but I prefer to use the pink ones when I have clear switch tops (hopefully).
