How is the battery life with that Bluetooth board installed? (and what size battery?)

I have a black Pro 2 with BKE lights and Hypersphere’s rings, and while I think they take away too much tactility from the stock domes, it’s actually a good fit for the (perhaps overly tactile) BKE lights.

It was installed over New Years, but people claim about two weeks with a 2500mAh battery (I'm using a 3000mAh battery, so maybe a few days extra). I'll report back once I've driven it a bit more.

I agree with the BKE light domes, they're definitely a lot more binary than the OEM 45g domes. I've got two HHKB's, one with about 2 months, and one with a few weeks, and I can already tell a slight difference. Here's to hoping they break in a little more. I know BKEs are very subjective, but I personally like the "cloppiness" of the domes. I've also got Infinity Gauntlets for hands, so I think it works better in my case.

A couple of weeks is pretty good I think.

I couldn’t resist to get one of the HYBRIDs (black Type-S) though, and to be honest it’s perfect except the battery bulge and the top-placement of all the text (but hardly noticed on the black version). I guess we’ll see how long the batteries last...

Cool stuff coming out of Korea atm, Topre seem to finally be acknowledging the demand for coloured keysets (somewhat)

It would be even cooler, if they would include a shorter right shift key such that the sets could be used on HHKBs without looking weird :) Also; blank keycaps would be nice.

This is really interesting. I always thought that when they discontinued the colored sets they also did away with their means to produce these colored keycaps. I'm surprised that they're rereleasing them but in such limited colors and shipped stock with boards instead of as add on sets. I'd think that people would be most interested in the lime green and pink, especially the blank ones but it seems like they went for green and blue printed.

It’s really good. Slightly better than the Pro 2 Type-S which was already really awesome in my opinion.

No lubing.

The Pro 2 at the bottom has BKE Redux lights, ironed soft-landing pads, and a USB Hasu controller.

im all for keeping hhkbs pristine if that's your bag, but to retrobrite one that shows its beautiful beige age is sacrilege.

let the typebeasts buy their own NIB boards and leave the boards with patina be to be circulated among people who appreciate a finer vintage.

i could only hope to someday have a board as yellow as hasu's but alas i don't smoke  :)) sunlight will have to do.

master of lazy lighting returns to show off one of the newer kbdfans sets

pretty nice overall, only real negatives are the texture is still amped up on steroids and keycap size is still slightly smaller than stock realforce. i personally would prefer a minor increase in the size of the alpha legends, the replacement of the esc/fn legends with icons, and then the caps lock icon absolutely needs to be replaced with the ctrl icon. should probably shift alt icons to the 1.5u keys and put a meta/super icon (not the ****ty command icon) in their place on the 1u's too.

the asterisk on the 8 looks super pleasant tho.

Is this an MX or Topre keyset? Looks really nice, just wondering if you novatouched your whole board for it or not.

it's a topre set. kbdfans came out with red alert/olivetti-esque sets (and a purple legend set as well) for the hhkb at the end of last year, and the above set finally got here today.
