flipping the spacebar won't mess with the switch right? cause I've been flipping it for a while now, and it's just too good to go back D:

No it won't. :P #TypedWithAFlippedSpacebar.

Flipped spacebar 4 lyfe.

are the keycaps on the 660c the same profile in height as the HHKB keycaps? just wondering..

I liked it on SP sets with the ridiculously sharp spacebar but on Topre it's kinda weird.

I flipped mine, tried it for a couple of weeks.

It felt different, but not better in any significant way.

As I have not been suffering the symptoms some people have reported with a conventionally oriented space bar, I flipped mine back to "normal".

Here is my Ducky Shine 3 that I'm using atm.

Brown Cherry MX switches, Vortext PBT Double-shot keycaps (blue set).  Waiting on my 'Blue Wave' custom sleeved usb cable from mimic-cables to finish it off for now.

May put this keycap set on my Poker II to see how it looks. But for now, this feels nice, and looks great in the dark :P

Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures.

Well, here is my white Poker II. Took the Vortex keycaps off my Shine 3 and threw it on here. I've been using it for about 6 hours now, and it is a whole lot of fun!  Hopefully I can find one of those TEX low profile 60% cases in blue to put it in. With my mimic-cable that's showing up also, I feel like I would call the build 'done' if I could find it.

ooh.  that's a proposition, isn't it.  I don't plan to mod THIS one, but I am exploring the possibility of either modding my spare or building a replica with modern keyswitches.  As can be seen in the upper part of the photo, I've got some cherry switches sitting in the frame of a newer apple keyboard, of which I think I like the blue and brown types, but I would be interested in checking out some topre switches, as they are purported to last almost to forever.

My design requirements:
Use of original case
Plan to replicate case in Aluminum  (for version 2)
full 105-key layout
key size/spacing to replicate original layout
plate mounted, capacitive keyswitches
PBT keycaps, laser etched, Univers57 italics font
PBT spacebar
Switchable 6KRO / NKRO over USB

If i could get the same with a red or orange theme instead that would be insane. But i'm waiting for spare money to buy a whole set of clear switches to create a clear poker II (unique stuff uknowatimsayinhomie?)

Yeah this baby is from Feb 2005. Unfortunately I wan't the one who developed this dent in the spacebar :/ I bought it second hand in verry bad condition and refubbished it completely.
I somehow like the age and the vintage touch on this board but I am thinking of overhauling it completely.

Hehe jeah the heavy use is only on the ABS Parts like spacebar and a bit on the case. The PBT is still in a verry good condition, only a bit shine but absolutely acceptable for its age!

Pretty happy with how this turned out.
Filco with ergoclears, AL housing, and Dolch DSA set.
Of course has to use the Commodore logo for escape, until I can get my hands on the full set.

This is my work board, so the conservative look works well.

The Dolch look really goes nicely with the dark grey AL.
The only problem is the right arrow dolch dsa key gets caught on the housing, so using different arrows for now.  :)

We have one of those keyboards around here.  It was great when first purchased, but has shown signs of significant wear since.  It is now lo longer nice to type on.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

FC660C at home and rotating between a Filco Majestouch-2 MX Blue and Poker 2 MX Brown at work.

Might take the FC660C to work and make it my full daily driver since moving it isn't a hassle.

FC660C has sat on my desk since Jan, it has made it much farther than the HHKB2 did in terms of use.

Damn son this board is super rare i have not seen any in days!

Are you selling it? I would totally travel to your place to put my hands on this masterpiece of modern technology and pay full price to add it to my collection.

Those keycaps are incredibly nice are they Dual hybrid ABS-PBT triple shots?

Too.. much.. sarcasm... I'm choking....

Careful - remember what happened last time he listed a keyboard for sale.

Just got a used rosewill rk-9000i for cheap, opened it up, gave it the vacuum, isopropyl alcohol and toothbrush treatment.  The crumbs and texas bug moltings were enough to fill a compost bin!  now it's much more hygienic, but I don't know if I want to put the keycaps back on just yet, or wait for 7-bit's next GB.  Anyone know of any left overs from Round 4 ?

It's too bad she won't live, but then again, who does?

Nice picture! How does it feel?

I like it very much! But I don't have any experience on 60% KB's so I cant say how good it is compared to any others..

I had Ducky's TKL before this, so I have to get used on these macros :D

Also isn't that a Poker II backlite or is it different?

I think it's pretty much same KB, but correct me if I'm wrong..

Well, the case is different. The FN layer is different IIRC, and then there's this; "The V60 is unique as it has dual LED backlight, options include switchable red/ blue and blue/green. The board has 6 brightness settings as well as a 'breath' setting (dim to bright) in both colours. Backlight colour can be changed on the fly using ' Alt ' + ' \ '"
