I'm using the Ducky Shine II: Red Backlight, MX Blues, O-rings

I also use a Poker X for essays/notes: MX Blues, Klaxon Keycaps
But I'm trying to get ahold of some MX Clears to make Pandas

Matias Secure Pro for the last three weeks. Loved it, but it has a big flaw on the wireless design which I wasn't aware of until a few hours ago

Now you caught my attention. What is the design flaw you're talking about?

Continuous synchronization, its transmitter goes into "sync" mode when it can't find the receiver and that drains battery very quickly.

How did I find that out? I stored the receiver on the keyboard itself when I wasn't using it, without turning it off, thinking it'd go into "sleep mode", as it does when it is synchronized with the receiver. My Logitech G602 goes into sleep mode when it can't find its transmitter for a certain time, and I thought the Secure Pro would do the same.

As a result, the battery which was supposed to last 6-12 months, lasted only 15 days after the first time I charged it.

The only way to fix that, is to turn off the keyboard when you want to transport it or store it.

I have been using my ErgoDox since I built it last week. Such a cool keyboard. It took about 2-3 days to get used to the non-staggered layout.
Please consider carefully before you decide to comment, for Jesus.

Wait till you  go back to standard layout. Hands feel so cramped. Luckily, getting used to standard layout again only takes 30 mins.

As owner of a Tesoro Lobera Supreme G5NFL, I really do have to disagree a bit with the "very very nice quality" part. The external build really isn't bad, but the keycaps, just like all iOne keyboards (and Solid Year ones too), are just awful.

I'm pretty clueless about electronics so I just bought hagstrom's converter.  It's not nearly as good but it gets the job done.

soarer's is pretty much brain dead easy if you know how to solder. teensy flashing is super easy and its just 8 solder joints you need to make. Total cost is $25 vs $60 for hagstrom. What's even more stupid is F xt can be had for $40, and hagstrom is 1.5x more expensive

Lol, yeah the main reason I didn't use bother to use soarer's is because I don't have a soldering kit so I probably wouldn't have saved much money in the end.

I love the layout of this thing too, the spacebar is surprisingly perfect.

Tesoro Durandal G1NL eSport edition.

Very underrated keyboard. Very very nice quality and look.

As owner of a Tesoro Lobera Supreme G5NFL, I really do have to disagree a bit with the "very very nice quality" part. The external build really isn't bad, but the keycaps, just like all iOne keyboards (and Solid Year ones too), are just awful.

Laser etched ABS is in a lot of keyboards..... not just iONE

Even ABS has different levels of quality, can't say it's all the same like that.

First: Craptastic keycraps from my old Logitech G710+, which left my home with 3 broken keycaps (M4, M5, left CTRL) even though I barely used it. These keycaps are made by Solid Year.

Second: Low quality keycap from my Tt Meka G-Unit. Supposedly produced by i-Rocks.

Third: Das Keyboard keycap, made by a Taiwanese Keycap supplier which makes almost all of the keycaps used by Costar. The plastic is actually quite good and a lot better than the others.

Fourth: Corsair Vengeance K70 keycap, uses a different and much better painting method than the Logitech G710+, but the plastic is the same and they're made by Solid Year.

Fifth: CM Storm Trigger keycap, made by a Taiwanese Keycap supplier which makes almost all of the keycaps used by Costar. One curious thing is that recent units seem to have a different painting method than older ones, thus there's several cases of paint wearing on new units, while older owners don't have that problem. The plastic is actually quite good and a lot better than the others.

Mmm, interesting. The keycaps don't affect me much though. Cheap to replace and honestly don't feel that bad. Could be better, but not bad.

IBM Model M. Dat noise. My only issue is that it's winkeyless, thus AltGraph is too far to the right. Meh.

Those LED covers are surprisingly effective :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I have an IBM Model M 42H1292 Made in UK board.  I recently purchased 2 Model M's off of Craigslist.  I sold the first one.  I have 2 computers at work, a Dell box for which I use the Model M.  I have an old MacBook Pro and use a white Apple Pro Keyboard from an old iMac.  At home, I use a black Apple Pro Keyboard (discarded by someone in the office) with an HP box.
