I'm on a stock Rosewill RK9000 with Blues. It's only a few days old. Nobody at work's complained yet about the noise. I'm a really heavy keystroke guy, so the clicks aren't where the most of the noise is coming from, but the bottoming out onto the board is so much louder than RD to cushion the blow. Oh well. Also had a HP Standard keyboard, the kb0316. Mine said it is made by Chicony. Both Chicony and Keytronic are very good, if not best, in rubberdome kb's. Don't like the 100% layout though. Amazon.com also sells a HP tenkeyless kb. Very nice too! But a bit mushy and sounds less tactile than the 0316. So, I swapped the Chicony rubberdomes in the HP tenkeyless kb.

Yeah, I also like the kb0316 better. Unfortunately, I got the UK version with small left shift-knob. I can't adapt using UK layouts. So, I just modded it onto the HP tkl.
At Leiden University (Holland) major library, I saw there were about 100's of kb0316 installed for use. And they get beaten for about 8-10 hours each day. They still work. But the tactility is gone, and just feels mushy..too bad. I think rubberdomes are just nice in the beginning.

I like the feel of my Keytronic ergo weighted over the kb0316 though..But find the HP more solid and better printed keycaps. Also the Keytronic is HUGE

Absolutely.  I've never had a membrane keyboard suddenly fail or start 'chattering' on me.  Although I like the KB0316 the best I still haven't tracked down an ANSI Olivetti yet.  I would love to try out one of those for fun.

Talking about Olivetti. Once, had a Olivetti Lettera 36 electric typewriter. The keys on that keyboard were truly mindblowing! No kiddin! I had had a smile from here to Tokyo. Pneumatic keys or something, heard somebody say.

Lots of rubber dome users out there! Rubber domes are the most-used key switch for a reason.

I do use mechanical keyboards on a few of my personal home computers though. The Hewlett-Packard unit happens to be on my work machine.
