side print thick pbt on my ducky shine 2 (had to repair a few switches last night)

Two weeks later I'm still typing on it....I really didn't thick I'd stick with the PBT caps this long.

Home: Rosewill RK-9000 (MX blues) and Dell Quietkey RT7D5JTW
Work: Dell SK-8125.

I'm probably going back to the IBM Model M sooner or later once I find my PS/2->USB adapter - the MX blues sound a little thin, and I love the ping of the Model M.
I'm kind of torn between the two in terms of sound.  I like both the Model M's buckling springs and the Cherry blues, but if I could get the blue click sound with the M's feel, that would be ideal.

Scored for $5 at a flea market. Black invader switches feel great. Have it listed for a high price on ebay so if it sells I'll have some cash and be able to buy myself a cheaper invader board. If it doesn't then I don't mind hanging onto this beauty. Left shift will take some getting used to though.

Model M, but not for long.  It is too noisy when everyone else is trying to sleep.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

At work I'm using a pristine NMB board with black space invaders.  For some reason I don't have pictures.  Need to take some sooner or later.
I was lucky enough to snag two identical boards for free :).

Currently at work, with two keyboards plugged in to my workstation - a vintage Model M, and a Leopold FC200RT.  I use the Model M when I'm not on a conference call and my door is closed, the Leo when I need to be more conscientious.  Also anxiously awaiting the mail carrier to drop off my Leopold 660C - my first Topre -which is on the truck for delivery  :thumb:

ComradeSniper-chan has awoken me to a new world ~ <3

I absolutely love how the key switches feel~~~ So damn solid and crisp!!!

Only gripe I have is the spacebar... why does it feel like so mega-crap?!?!?! It's so much lighter than the rest of the keyboard, and feels like a broken MX Brown... It feels like it gets stuck and then eventually breaks way, and then rattles so bad... Does anyone know how to fix this? I saw a video where some dood had an extra stem and placed it in there.. but I don't even know where I'd get that...

Other than that, this keyboard is a dream to type on... If only it was TKL :P

Do you find that the keys rub slightly against the stabilizers when bottoming out? I haven't been able to get my thick PBT keys to play nicely with Costar stabilizers. That really bums me out because I'd like to use them with my QFR, but I don't like the mushy feeling that I get when I hold the keys down.

When I first put them on I noticed the Enter key stuck in the depressed state, but working it up and down a few times seems to have fixed it. Other than that, these caps are perfect on the CODE.

I'm back to using my V60 with Greens. I love this switch so much. I dismantled it to put it into the 60% aluminium case, but I've had so many issues with plasti-dipping it white (I'm terrible with a spray can) I've just put it back together in it's stock plastic case for now.

When I get thinner to actually paint the metal case, I will shift it over. It's going to look awesome :)
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I enjoy reds. I haven't been blessed with topre yet.

My daily driver is my mj2 with blues. Right now I'm feeling saucy so I jumped on my ssk. Actually I'm doing excessive amounts of typing and I find this the most comfortable for the long haul.

I switch between 1-4 every day now, hah.

Usually use my thinkpad keyboard when I'm on my laptop, occasionally pull out my HHKB for use on that. When I'm back at my desk, I use my M-13 mainly. When I'm gaming or not doing much typing, I switch to my ducky yellow edition with whites, which is what I'm currently using.
