I'm using a blue Alps Duck Mini V2 that I finished up yesterday :)

It's the first clicky keyboard that I seriously love.

You don't seriously love your Model M? :(

Can't wait for that blue alps tour though :thumb:

The M is good, but form factor is important for me. Blue alps also give buckling spring over membrane a serious run for their money.

Well I just bought an F, so I'll have to see how they hold up against capacitive!
Glad you're enjoying your Duck Mini though. Do you have that dolch replica on there?

HHKB Pro 2 here. I've made a huge mistake going non-printed caps

Welcome to Geekhack1

You can get a set of printed keycaps for HHKB at EK: http://www.elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=access,toprekeys

Well I think its that or touch typing.
haha thanks rowdy. so tempting but my wallet doesnt seem to agree lol

Kind of the medium-dark side; but for a 55-gram Topre guy, this is a foray into the dark side. Since double-dampening, I have two layers of shelf liner in the CMQFR's case except for a single layer under the R1 space-bar row. The keyboard sounds and feels great; far better than the stock CMQFR and far better than using a single layer of shelf liner. I bottom out my key strikes and after the additional dampening, the keys sound 'thocky' Gotta love the thock. Also eliminated interior echoing.

Using a Ducky DK9008P with MX Blues at home, CM Storm Quickfire XT with MX Browns at work.

Everyone hated me when I brought my Ducky to work. I thought it was out of envy. Nope, turns out it's because you could hear the click clack all through the building.

It made me sad.

It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Using my Filco MJ2 as well. Kinda developed a love hate relationship with this over the past few months. After a good year of using cherry mx blue switches, I am getting a bit tired of them. Once the novatouch comes out, that will probably be my daily driver.

Had a friend over recently and they tried to lift it not knowing it was aluminum, quite funny XD

I regret getting rid of my white banggood keycaps, I might order them again, they are so cheap it doesn't matter much :P

I'm curious why F9 has an LED. And wouldn't greens be more fitting for a clicky key on a clear board then blues?

On a QFR pressing Fn-F9 toggles the Windows key.  The LED under F9 lights when Win key is inactive.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect.

Went from 55g 87U to Filco MX Black; and end-of-day it's CMQFR/MX Blue.
The 55g down force of the MX Blues feels good at day's end.

For the next two weeks, daily driver will be my phone's keyboard. It's not even mechanical!

To all those who were concerned, I have been reunited with my Filco and SSK. Happy endings do come true :P

It's CMQFR day. The more I use this sound-dampened keyboard, the more I like it.
I can't break away from these great feeling, tactile, Cherry MX Blue key switches...
not even with 55g 87U on my desk.
