[WTB] Topre Blank Sets, ESA-3000-HASRO
« on: Sat, 28 March 2015, 21:55:03 »
Looking for red, green, blue, and white Topre blank sets. Not interested in printed sets.

Also looking for an ESA-3000-HASRO cap set or full board.

This is totally a long shot, but I won't give up my dreams. :))

Are these all ISO?

The eBay listing says around $60 postage to Australia, is that correct?

And the keycaps - are they gray?  I'm wondering about an ANSI conversion, but finding matching ANSI keycaps might be troublesome.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Yep, all ISO. And yeah, the large flat rate board game box is $60 to Australia. I might be able to get a cheaper rate by using a non-flat rate box, though. Often times, flat rate is not the best option for international shipping.

The keycaps are all gray, and I believe Unicomp sells other caps in that same colorway, though their shipping is probably very expensive for international stuff. :(

Are the cords burning into the shells?  Are you going to check them and maybe possibly zip-tie them away from the shells?

Yes, I'm in the process of testing these and getting all the cords unraveled. I wish the e-cycler wouldn't wrap the cords that way, but oh well.

I've got a pile of Unicomp Model M122s to sell--about 40 of them. They're all used and most have some surface scratches, but they're in good shape overall. $30 shipped for one, $45 shipped for two.

I'm interested in this because of the left-hand keypad, and the extra row of F keys.

Are these programmable?

I want to use the bottom left keypad for Cut, Copy, and Paste. (and Undo, etc.)

When I have sent flat rate game board boxes to Australia they were $77
Citizens United violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.
So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over.”

I don't believe they are programmable in their default state. I think you would have to use a converter for that.

According to the USPS site, this is correct. eBay is quoting $59 for shipping to Australia, I have no idea why.

Shipping to AUS in a game board box, wrapped in craft paper is roughly $60 (First Class). This will depend on weight though. I sent an SSK, so these may cost more.

Do they work over PS/2 or with a standard USB converter or do you need soarers mod to get them working?

Ah good to know. I want to do the Soarers mod on one, but I'm glad I don't have to do it for both I ordred. I figured the extra keys simply wouldnt function on the one I'm donating to work which is fine.

To be clear, I didn't try any of the extra function keys. I just tried a real quick typing test on each one and stuck them on the shelf with my SSK (all need to be cleaned before I really start using them).

Man Signature and I were just discussing the 3xx kustoms in irc.

Beautiful boards, and I'd just like to say ComradeSniper's an excellent seller, bought a bunch of alps boards off him a couple months ago!
